Wrecked

Friday morning Darcy was hit by a car in front of our house and killed. Obviously we are devastated and having a very hard time coping with this. Look for queued content for the rest of this week, and enjoy some puppy spam in the meantime.

    Oh, I am so very sorry. We lost my first dog when she was hit by a car. The suddenness of it is awful.

    It's a dog-mom's worst nightmare. No time to say goodbye, no opportunities to stuff full of hotdogs and hamburgers and cheese and bacon. Just memories. And grief.

    I'm very sorry for your loss. I used to tell my clients: focus on the other dog, because they are grieving, too.

    Oh no, that is horrible. We lost our corgi Ivan to a hit in run right in front of the barn 5 years ago.
    I am so sorry you had to go through that. The pictures are awesome memories.

    Ohmygod Carly I'm so so so sorry to hear this. That's devastating. I've lost a handful of dogs in my life and that crippling, crushing sensation that creeps through your chest when you least expect it is something that you can neither express nor really recieve comfort for. Many hugs to you.
